The International Assembly of the National Council for the Social Studies requests your nominations for the 2010 Distinguished Global Scholar Award. The Global Scholar will be honored at our luncheon on Friday, November 23, 2010 at our conference in Denver, Colorado. Both events are again sponsored this year by the generosity of the Eleanor and Elliot Goldstein Family Foundation.

The Distinguished Global Scholar has dedicated her/his professional life to the advancement of global understanding in schools and teacher education programs around the world evidenced in distinguished scholarship, teaching and learning.
